I ,as you probably are too since you're here, am very interested in web programming and the scripting languages. A lot of times they can be really complicated and confusing.  As a beginner in a certain scripting language, it can be really hard to find straight answers to the questions you have. Sometimes an answer isn't even there. When you do finally get someone to help, they use terms and syntax way over your head and when you ask them to explain it, they use more terms which you don't understand then you get even more confused. If this sounds like you then my site might be able to help you. I have scripts on my site that I have either written or have gotten from somewhere else on the web and weather I've changed it or not, I have commented it as extensive as I can to help you understand what the author of it was trying to do. I am also working on a dictionary of terms to put on my site. I'm not going to call it a dictionary for dummies because I know I nor anyone else is a dummy, they just need answers and explanations.  I also have links on the resources page to some good places that I've found on the net. All and I mean all of the sites you will find on the net that say JavaScript tutorial, or for that matter any scripting language, doesn't teach you how to program. They just teach you the methods and functions of the language and the proper syntax to use when writing it. For a true tutorial, I'm afraid you have to resort to the ole book.  I have suggested a couple of them one my site and also have links to places to buy books online. Enough of my babbling now. I hope you enjoy my site and maybe learn something too.  If you have any questions or comments feel free to e-mail me at [email protected].  I'd be happy to answer any question that you have if it's with my capability. If I can't answer your question. I will refer you to someone(s) who will be able to.
